BIO FOR IRENE VITALE DEDIO
Irene Vitale Dedio is a freelance writer and editor specializing in
entertainment. Irene spent ten years as a features writer and senior editor for Soaps In Depth magazine and Soap Opera Update, national publications with circulations of over one million readers. She directed Soaps In Depth's national television advertising campaign,serving as its principal creative director. In addition, she has made frequent radio and television appearances as a "soap opera expert," with numerous spots on MSNBC, Lifetime Television and SoapNet. Her production credits include work behind the scenes at Live With Regis and Kathie Lee, The New York City Marathon Television Broadcast, and New York Views with Roz Abrams. She was also the creator of Mattel's All My Children Trivia Game.
Currently, she is working on the launch (January 2010) of her new Web site: YouVent.com, a networking site for sharing views on products, services, places and things - a place to "vent" about your experiences on anything and everything. She serves as an editor/consultant for Balancing Planet Pictures in Los Angeles, and Tonja Walker Davidson Productions in New York. She has recently edited the upcoming children's book: The Grand HallCharacter Ball by Lyn McCullough.
She graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies, and earned her Master's Degree in Communication Arts from William Paterson University, where she later served as an Adjunct Professor of Communication.
